How to attach a purchased credit to a existing case?

I purchased a "pay as you go" credit but I didn't do it through the "case locked" icon. I was charged for the credit and it appears as an order, but it is not attached to my case. I see no way to attach it now. It is just sitting there in limbo. Please advise. Thanks!

BTW, it wasn't obvious to me the "case locked" icon took took me to the payment page. I assume if someone uses that icon, the credit would apply to that case automatically?
