CACB (California Central) - If required to file Petition with original signatures, you can print out docs for client to sign: Open Case / Case Forms / on Official Forms tab @ bottom of screen, unselect Include E-Signature / locate & check box for Voluntary Petition / hover over doc to highlight it & on far right, click Printer icon / after debtor signs it, scan ALL DOCS in black & white, not color, including signature pages, & save on your computer.
UPLOAD PETITION DOC TO FILE AUTOMATICALLY (you can because we have an ECF Event for Petition): Open case in Jubilee / Electronic Filing / hover over Petition / click Modify Included Forms (far right) / on right side below Included Forms & Documents, click blue button with double arrow pointed to left to remove all docs from list / on left side @ bottom of screen, click Upload Document / Drag OR click Add Files to grab the Petition file that you saved earlier / you will see the file listed / click Upload & Close / click on Documents Tab / file will be displayed under Case Documents / click on PDF document / click single arrow on blue button pointed to right to add it under Included Forms & Documents / at top left of screen, click Update Forms & Documents for Petition OR click on Electronic Filing in blue panel / on ECF Documents tab, hover over Petition / click Generate PDF icon to view / Download / click Open with OR Save / after viewing, you can close document.
FILE AUTOMATICALLY: ECF Documents tab / check Petition & any other docs that you want filed @ the same time (Not applicable in this scenario, but if the checkbox is grayed out, Jubilee doesn’t file the doc automatically so you will be required to use the Manual login tab, of which you don’t need to use the checkbox beside the document) / click Continue to Filing Summary & follow procedure to file electronically.
